TAOS ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the TAOS Affiliate Operating System platform. By using TAOS, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Account Information: Name, email address, password hash, and referral code when you register.

Campaign Data: Product selections, content generated, traffic schedules, and performance metrics.

Analytics Data: Page views, clicks, conversion events, and engagement patterns.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system.

Payment Data: Transaction records, commission payouts, and billing information (processed securely via our payment partners).

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the TAOS platform and its features
To process affiliate commissions and track referral performance
To analyse platform usage and improve our services
To send important notifications about your account and campaigns
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase, with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including firewalls, access controls, and regular security audits. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sensitive operations require additional verification.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you

Supabase (database & authentication)

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we retain minimal data for legal and audit purposes for up to 7 years, then permanently delete it. Campaign and analytics data may be anonymised and retained for statistical purposes.
